Icculus

Yeah, this was my 8th Tool show as well, and again, they outdid themselves. Had a healthy dose of psilocybin to shake off the outside world, and my first hit of weed in a long time. They put out an INCREDIBLE amount of energy. A lot of bands have energy, but very very very few are fully aware of what it is that they are doing. A Tool concert is a ritual, make no mistake, but it is also four weird ass motherfuckers having a shitload of fun. I saw them in Oakland last May, but this one was the one they were "warming up" for! Maynard was really into it, each word carrying a massive amount of weight & sincerity behind it. They all rocked hard, the heaviest Tool show I've seen (first was in 8/2001 w/ King Crimson)

I rocked out so hard I was sore the next day, but I didn't care. I was moved, as always, more than ever before. Made me want to go out there and put that energy to use! FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!
