by technical release standards opiate is an EP, not a full-length album, an album none the less, but not designated as such in accordance to Tool's contract (or so i've read many a time), which is probably why half of Tool's audience considers opiate an album, and the other half doesn't. to be honest i don't care about the technicalities of the situation, what i said earlier is what matters. Opiate is amazing.
