My first tool show ever and my first time at the gorge. Born and raised in tacoma, 32 years and been waiting 11 to see tool. I was a bit dissapointed that I was in GA, as I figured seating would provide a better view, but me and my girl were as close to center as possible and right at the fence, so we were close and yet up far enough to get the full experience. Almost had to take out a nutso, stoner, old lady gyrating and stepping on me, but once Tool started, all anger left my body and pleasure prevailed. Only thing I would have done different is camped. I left tacoma at 10am, got there around 1:30 walked around a bit, got into the early entry line around 4 and at the end of the show drove home (got back at 4 am!!). I spent about 80.00 and all I got were 4 beers, a hot dog, 5-6 waters and two cheese pizzas. Wanted to get a shirt, but couldn't justfy 40.00!!! So, all in all, i was very happy and look forward to seeing them again. The gorge is absolutely beautiful as were Tool.
