Stones upon your road stumbles me into your wilderness.
A steady path narrowing as my steps feel the difference.
Further into I’m looking for you. The wind dies down as parameters surround.
Even light begins to drown; a tunnel into a void.
Hesitant to admit this as a vulnerable decision,
Adamantly waving off sounds and suspicion, I
Ventured even further into, I
Even managed to catch a glimpse of you.
Nervously preparing your claws, your teeth.
Stumbling upon your truth, I was yearning for the lie,
Where instead your wilderness surrenders the sky-
Alive within this void, of the wild without a road,
You hide here in fear that one day you’ll lose control.
