Re: 2006/08/30 - Englewood, CO - Coors Amphitheater

Yeah, the fan response was a bit dissapointing. It's almost like people think it's uncool to clap and scream in between songs. I was in the pit, and I expected the folks around me to give a little more love. So, in that respect, I agree with the "weak-ass pit" statement earlier.

However, "moshing" at TOOL is lame. You want to jump around and pump your fist - great. If you bump into people while you're doing it - no problem. If you're in the pit with no shirt, smelling, sweating, and stinking, pushing guys and girls around to show what a man you are, your a f*g. And the a-hole who started sh*t with me got ejected for it. Just because their are no chairs, it doesn't give a drunk frat boy license to invade other people's space. I didn't pay $100 for my pit ticket to interact with anyone other than the band.

I wouldn't run back to see this tour again. The Lateralus tour was just way more enjoyable from a visuals and set list standpoint. Still tho, the best show on the road today.
