He doesn't say he only "liked" it, he says it's interesting and exciting, and that one listen is not enough to judge the album. It seems like the album is harder to get than Lateralus. Their ethnic influences seem very present. It's seem quieter too...

I do believe that a lot of fans will be dissapointed anyway, at least at the first listens.
