Ok, um, one that comes to mind (hardly the fittest) is "yellow coward". You know how people call others simply "yellow", or "yellah". So there. I know it's not the best, but there you go.

I guess if you were already familiar with the word "flippant", and now see it used unproperly, then you're probably right. But there's always room for exceptions.
