The only things about Maynard's performance that I was a little disappointed about (and I mean ever so little) was no scream mid-stinkfist as I have seen in the boots, no vicarious outro singing and the fact that Rosetta was way too distorted by the megaphone. But those are all minor quibbles, other than that I thought he was completely on song all night. The thing I love about tool is that they are all stars; through the night each one of them blew me away. I wanted to be in front of Adam because I play lots of tool on guitar but I would have been happy where-ever I was, each one of them are brilliant in their own right. |
