I like what they did there. It really gives a sense of being alien to the person in the bed. We all know people dont talk like that and it really gives that sense of strange to it all. Kinda like robots/aliens trying to imiate human life, or the whole thing could have been a weird hallucination, kinda like Jacobs Ladder sans the horror.
