Well I'm 91% sure it's "Eye on", so there!

"Eye on the TV" gives the lyrics a more creative twist that Maynard is known for, not something as simple and bland as "I own the TV 'cause tragedy thrills me." Plus it makes more sense that you watch a TV because tragedy thrills you, not that you own it because it thrills you (I mean both make sense, but technically you would associate watching instead of owning).
