The song clearly is speakign negatively of whoever they are talking about.
I don't think the main focus is Christ either, but I think he uses "Get Off your fucking cross" metaphorically.
Who knows who it's about...it doesn't matter. Still a good song.

anger is a natural part of the griefing process, this song was said to have been written shortly after bh died. naturally for maynard, he uses this song to assist in the healing process. he did it with his mom's griefing. |
