I don't understand why everyone thinks it's "ignorant flippants"...if you look up the word flippant, the only definitions for it are adjectives. It's not a noun, but it seems to me that we're using it as a noun by saying "Ignorant flippants in the congregation". Aside from not making grammatical sense, it's kind of an obscure word and doesn't seem to flow well with the rest of the lyrics. Anyone agree?

Just for the record, I don't think it's "fibbers" either.
