Re: 2006/09/25 - Cleveland, OH - Wolstein Center

1st Tool show, and...well...good show, I thought. Isis was very very tight, though their sound mix was a little disappointing and they only played 4 songs.

Tool, though, exceeded my expectations, aside from the lack of huge projections. I thought they did pretty much perfect on every song (aside from the band (not Maynard) messing up Rosetta Stoned). Although, I agree that some parts were too loud, namely RS and the interludes (which were otherwise cool).

I think that WfM/10k Days is NOT a good live song, though. It lost a bit of the emotion that came from good quality CD sound, and the effects (e.g. thunder noises) were too loud. But they tried their best.

Lateralus and Ænema rocked, definitely my favorite live songs that I saw.

I had seats 16 rows back on the floor, and they turned out to be aisle seats...so I stood in the left-middle aisle most of the time (frantically headbanging at certain points), if anyone cares.

Well worth the money.
