Re: 2006/08/30 - Englewood, CO - Coors Amphitheater

This was my 4th Tool show, and I thought it was great. I thought it sounded fantastic, but maybe that's because I was in the center. (Section 102, Row FF) I'm really happy they added Opiate to the list, too bad there weren't more songs that they hadn't play at the Buell, but oh well.

I'm pretty pissed at myself because I had VIP parking and couldn't find the damn lot, and I drove right by it! It was in a different spot for Family Values, so we kept looking in that direction. Oh well. Traffic sucked either way. We had some VIP passes to the lounge, too, but.. it was kind of lame. A lot less wait for a beer, though.

Only complaints were: 1) The kid behind my boyfriend that asked him to keep his arms out of the air. What?! Are you joking?? I'm hoping that this was his first concert and that he didn't know any better. 2) The strange lady doing funky dances in our aisle. Although, it was pretty funny. I believe she'd taken some X or something. Had to.. nobody's that weird.

Also, my ticket was scanned and nobody ripped it up. Fiddler's is not my favorite venue by far, but it was a great show. I hope they come back to Red Rocks, but only if my seat it close! (Otherwise, the sound kind of sucks. Beautiful scenery, though.)
