Maynard, I doubt, completely overlooked the fisting-imagery connection when he wrote Stinkfist. Even if he did simply use a poor choice of words, I'm almost certain that after around the 40th or 50th time singing those lyrics some type of revelation would heavily hint to his naiive mind the embarassing reality that he had made an accidental fornication-reference.
And even if the harsh reality somehow still managed to go completely over his head and miss its mark entirely, I am pretty sure that Adam, Danny, or Justin would notice it as it shoved itself through the air and at least wait until the song was over before breaking the news to Maynard.
