it seems like the setlist is dictated less by what Maynard is physically able to sing and more what songs he's able to emotionally give a shit about. Aside from Jambi and Pushit, all the songs on the setlist are a presentation of his worldview, not a reflection on his experiences. Stinkfist, The Pot, Aenema, 46&2, Intension, T&L, Lateralus, and even Schism to an extent are all pretty devoid of personal experience and seem more to be some social spiritual remark.
I guess we'll really never see H. or Jimmy again or most of the stuff from Undertow. Think about it, even the tracks they used to play from Undertow were Intolerance, Flood and occasionally Sober. Not exactly super emotional and all of which are still applicable to the way Maynard sees the world.
