I enjoyed your poems. They're very dark and gritty. Have you ever heard of JaneAnne Phyllips? I heard her speak at a college I was visiting; Phyllips wrote a popular book of short stories called <u>Black Tickets</u>. Her prose contains the same dark, gritty tone that your poetry does. Give her a read; you might enjoy her work.
