what did maynard say before "the pot?" something like....
"i've been a little under the weather lately, and i'm not supposed to sing this song. but i'm going to anyway. (applause) i'm not doing it because i'm nice, i'm doing it because if i don't, you all will cry like a bunch of babies. so here is some bitching therepy, please spread it around." i'm sure i'm a little off. please correct me wherever i messed up. that's pretty close though. that was so early in the concert, and he didn't talk to us as much as he did at memorial hall in may. anyway, that was intense and incredible. the lasers meshed flat a few times and reflected the "fakefog" into cloud formations. the lighters during the break was BEAUTIFUL! i was in the front row of section 112 and the perspective of all the lighters was (add another positive adjective here!) THANK YOU, TOOL! the music was spot-on, and the vocals, although a BIT low compared to the music (just like the new album,) were delivered wonderfully. alright, enough with the compliments, they rocked!
