You know, I have read many complaints about Tool's fans (at the Coachella boards, for ex) accusing them of being aggressive meatheads. So, although it seems convenient to just blame San Diego or the event itself, I really don't know what to think after last night. I sure hope this was an isolated thing and the next three shows I am going to are mellower.

One last thing (and then I'll shut my yap), as I was making my way out of the venue in the mass of bodies, towards the bottom of the exit where things were really jammed, there were two couples, guy/girl, just standing there blocking things. The guys had their backs to the crowd with the girls in front of them and were 'protecting' their girls by making everyone go around them in some sort of idiotic, testerone fueled ritual of supreme idiocy to show their manhood. I mean, it is just as farked up as it sounds. I still can hardly believe I saw something so moronic. But that's the type of person that was there last night. :(
