Maynard's voice sounded fantastic!!!

FFS, he's not 25 anymore- the overt need to scream, roar, and prove that they're a "metal" band is long gone.

Yes, there's stuff from Opiate/Undertow I'd give my left leg to hear, but I also appreciate that people grow and that those songs may not be where the band is at these days-whether physically, mentally, emotionally, or whatever.

As for claims of his "attitude" - HUH? Looked to me like he was having fun-and since I was pretty close (Jesus, I could see his friggin' yellow shoelaces), I really think it might just be a prob for those who ended up on the lawn.

Tool have a *lot* more fans than ever before- they spent 2 1/2 years touring Lateralus, and will no doubt spend a similar amount of time with 10,000 Days. If he is trying to conserve his voice, what's WRONG with that?
