I loved the show even if Maynard was on his own business … I’m wondering how more thrilling a Tool concert would be if they had a more charismatic figure on stage …somebody who gives and shares emotions with people below like some giants of the past did!

I don't think so. The Maynard of Tool, from Undertow to 10,000 days, is a Maynard who sings shoulders to public. Music by Tool is not metal, it's not rock, it's a particular new genre who melts a lot of different music with a visonary and psychedelic touch.
Maynard's voice is unbelievable. I sang only yesterday, screaming song's lyrics during all the tracks, and today I've got no voice. I can't believe he's screaming since a month and he still got a perfect voice.
He's charismatic for how and what he sings, and not for strange movements or dancing on the box. For now, this Maynard as Tool's singer it's the right one.
