yes, this seems very plausible! if you consider all the facts there is no way around the hermetic qablah and the tarot... danny definatly got his fingers in this puzzle. :)
the idea of the lovers card is really brilliant! i didnt think about that.
additionally i'd like to mention that i think there's also an importance of the mirror standing in the middle between "black" and "white", or between the "twins", reflecting the opposites...
