This was my 16th Tool show and while iv'e seen shows with better setlists and overall energy, this one definatly sounded the best...These guys are made to play at the Gorge...Sometimes in the arena shows the sound is muddy and Maynard and Adam get drowned out ... But playing outside just makes everything crystal clear...Iv'e never seen a show before where it was nice and loud and still this clean...I couldnt believe how good Maynards voice souned, especially in Rosetta Stoned. You could decipher every word he was saying in the begining distorted verses. I love the new parts to schism and opiate, nice to see them mixing it up a bit. Schism might have actually been the highlite of the show, (Danny is a Monster!) The 10000 lighters before Lateralus was pretty cool, I'm suprised Maynard didnt comment on how many people smoke weed in WA...Hopefully they will have Wings 1&2 worked out soon, I cant wait for that live experiance!!!
