Hey all im new here this is my first post and ive been trying to get registered for awhile now but they had a problem with emails but anywasy thats besides the point. I would just like to state my opinion about what i think the pot is about even though there are many thoughts about it being about drugs. In my opinion i feel it is about the pot of human culture and how people keep meddling in affairs that have nothing to do with them hence the things that are going on now like invading countries for no particular reason just to get their way. But on to my topic here the reason i come to that conclusion is because of lines in the song like kangaroo be stoned hes guilty as the government or kangaroo hung the juror with the innocent. Now im not sure if anyone knows this or not but go look up kangaroo court, a kangaroo court is a trial where the verdict has already been decided against you that you are already guilty and that the jury will decide that way no matter what. They are also called drum court martials and the meaning behind the line kangaroo hung the juror with the innocent means that the juror is actually hanging himself by making the defendent guilty already without proof he inturn is actually making himself succeptiable to a simialar trial later on where the same thing could happen to him/her.

So bascially that is what is going on now like in place in gitmo where people who were picked up from who knows where and being called terrorist even if they arnt they will be found guilty even if say they are just farmer doesnt matter theyre guilty .thats just one example of that but it is basically throwing away the constituition is what the song is about in my humble opinion .I know maynard is political in a roundabout way, but he also has double meaning with everything the songs are made to be interpreted the way you want and what is going on around you at the time.It is a wonderfull thing to have such a lyrical genius in a time of manufactured ,watered down, crap on the airwaves
