Hmmm. Watching their Prague 2019 set right now and besides them all seeming into it, it seem like they’re trying to breathe some new life into Vicarious. Been playing the new intro regularly, and extra embellishments from all musicians. Maybe this song just shows the “x-factor” a bit more, and you might’ve just gotten an off-night? I really enjoyed it in Denver.
