First Tool show.

Mindnumbingly amazing performance. Maynard seemed to be mostly over his sickness. The Pete isn't the best for a concert such as this, IMO, but it wasn't bad at all. The sound was a bit overpowering at certain times and bugged up a bit around where I was sitting (section 124, row R).

Setlist was really nice, wouldn't have complained if some Undertow was thrown in somewhere. My section smelled like weed for the first 40 or so minutes of the show.

I honestly didn't expect much from ISIS, but they impressed me. I liked the fact that you couldn't really tell what the guy was saying.

I noticed a lot of people sitting for Wings/10,000 Days. The whole "ligthers" thing was pretty amazing...a heartwarming moment. Maynard didn't seem to move an inch during this song, and Justin sat down.

Best night of my life. I'm hoping to somehow get together a few people and get my ass to the Wilkes-Barre show next Tuesday or whenever.

God help us if this band stops making music.
