Deeply, at times,

Entangled in a web of sins,
I wish to cut the thread
From which I am barely hanging on

Encumbered by the weight of failing perspectives,
I want to shear the final ligament
That holds my broken bones

Submerged in a pool of anguish,
I yearn to finally and fully shatter
this cracked and wicked vessel.

But, instead,
I choose to be stronger than my brokenness.
