Thats fine. I did expect most stuff to be off the later albums. But in that case I would have hoped for a very different mix of stuff from Aenima, Lateralus and 10,000 Days. If you loved their set list then great - difference of opinion.
About hardcore: band trivia etc. doesn't interest me very much. If thats what defines hardcore then I'm definitely not. I'm just a guy who loves Tool music, jams Tool music, and perhaps *did* have too high expectations for their live show.
