I wasn't holding it against the crowd surfers, cause most of them were folks that had just been overwhelmed by the crush. Surfing was just the fastest and simplest way out of the mosh. A couple of kids near me fainted and the only way we could get them out was to get them over the top.
I'm unbelievably glad I got gold for Wednesday because the mosh was just an unpleasant one. I think like in most cases it was just a couple of drunk fucks ruining it for everyone but it really did damage the show.
