In my opinion the "D" barrier sucks, after hunting around for a spot that I thought might give me a view of the band and the screen (so much for that!) I ended up a couple back from the barrier on the ORANGE stage. I understand why they have the D barrier for surging crowd reasons, security etc. But those on the other side would not have realised that the whole front orange area was totally empty. People were even sitting on the ground in there while we were gasping for a glimpse behind the barrier. Surely the people spending all afternoon in the sun with no food, water, toilet (!) are an issue as well.
BTW Tool still rocked.
