That wasn't a bandage around his arm, it was some kind of electronic device, like a wireless earpiece or something. He's had it on at all the shows. It had a little pack in it that had a light that blinked.
I was at the Toronto show and the girl next to me let me use her binoculars, so I saw it up close.
