The only thing I didn't care for with respect to Maynard was him singing Vicarious through the megaphone. The worst thing was is the fucking traffic. I left Columbia, SC at 6:00 and was within 2 miles of the arena by 7:20. I did not get to my seat until the beginning of 46+2! It was ridiculous! I was so pissed I missed Jambi because it is such a kick ass song to start the show. I will NEVER go to a show at that arena again. I'm really hoping this was not a farewell tour. My next goal is to see them in an outdoor venue. Sorry I am kind of rambling, but I am still recovering...
I had a read hard time with traffic too I guess you came up 77. The traffic on Independence Blv was rediculous and from what I could tell it wasn't even for the show as it turned off about a half mile before the arena. Note to anyone who goes to this venue again. I've been their several times, recently to see Slipknot in February and the best thing to do with is to park at the little hotel beside the arena they never tow, there are always people tailgating. I got out of their in about two minutes. And they have a surprisingly cool security staff.
Security Gaurd: "Did you put up that bottle of rum"
Me: "Uh... What bottle?"
SG: "Just make sure it's in your trunk, I don't think you want to get an open container."
