The additional seats released to Ticketmaster a day or so before the show were all behind the stage. They took the backdrop down so that the people behind the stage could see.

I think that's also whey there was seemingly very little in the way of visuals. The screen that is normally behind the stage (see photos in Houston, TX show review) was not at full-height. So the people behind the stage could see. I think the overhead screen images were projected on the screen behind the band as well; it's just that no one could see them. I have to think that it would've been more impressive visually to have had that.

May be stating the obvious to some, but just clarifying for those who may not know.

The Houston and Dallas shows had nothing different onstage as far as visuals go, except in Dallas they didn't have a black curtain hanging behind the stage. The curtain seems to help those white light bulbs stand out a little more, and helps hide the strings that the bulbs are hanging on. Those vertical video screens behind the band have been the same height for the whole tour, no matter where they've played.

The only other difference would be the arena's scoreboard video screens that they were able to use in Dallas. The Houston venue doesn't have those.
