The Tool Page: Opinion - View Single Post - 2006/09/03 - Oakland, CA

I've seen TOOL in concert a total of 13 times including sundays performance in Oakland. My thought on the show was that it was a good "rock" concert. Plain and simple they came out played the jams and left. The feel for me was that it went by pretty quick, they played a sort of greatest hits. Even the lasers and the backdrop was to plain, definetly not was i have been used to in the past. Comparing this tour to when Lateralus came out and Aenima it was watered down. I posted some pictures in an earlier comment. Im not complaining, Im just expressing how i felt after seeing them on this tour.
