Re: 2006/08/30 - Englewood, CO - Coors Amphitheater

This band even shines through the most lame of venues such as the Coors.
The version of Schism they played with a sped up, heavily percussive bridge was GREAT, never liked that song as much as I did tonight.
Maynardism: "I can't resist, BAaaaaa." (holds mic towards crowd which repeats) he says again "Basaaaaa." (holds mic to crowd who repeats) Right before Opiate...seemed appropriate.
The return of the long version of Stinkfist.... it was like recognizing an old friend. I felt proud in the TDN shirt yelling chickenweasel. Also NOTHING makes me feel more warm and squishy as thousands of kidds yelling "I'll ...Keep...Digging...," when the band is playing a completely new passage in it's place.
All and all great show and they promised scouts honor that they would be back after the first of the year.
Love it love it love it.
