I was in a sweet spot last night. Section 115 three rows up from the floor, about 25 feet from Justin. I could hear Maynard’s vocals perfectly and the band sounded great. It was loud enough to make my ears ring, unlike the Orpheum and Mansfield.

Also rocked out with some VIP’s during the show who were seated in the row in front of us. Some of you may have noticed a group of older (in their 60’s) people in section 115. They’re friends of the band and were way cool. Justin’s girlfriend came over to hug them right before Tool went on. Someone from their family invented one of the metal drums that Danny plays. Got a pic of their backstage pass. I hope they enjoyed those apple margaritas with the band and their families.

Wings/Days is a meditative masterpiece. Lateralus is a spiritual revival. Aenema is head banging heaven.

Great show. Legendary band.
