The Tool Page: Opinion - View Single Post - 2006/08/05 - San Diego, CA

i have to agree with most of the posters. i was there since 6 to see tool. i was five people from the front of the stage through the subways, the new york dolls, and the yeah yeah yeahs. well, halfway through their set, at least. halfway through, the pushing (and shoving) got too much for my 5'9'' 140 pounds and i jumped over the barrier just so i wouldnt die. i had been waiting so long to see tool (this was my second show) and i wanted so very much to be front row for them, i thought i had earned it by showing up so early. but of course the crowd decided it was more important to see how much they could push and see how close they could get to maynard, so i enjoyed the set from fifty feet back on the right side.

the set lists mentioned before are right, and the show was overall very enjoyable (tool is simply amazing), but the street scene fuckers were not. im so glad i have my ticket to thet assigned seating show in AZ and i wont have to worry about this next time.
