Maynard seemed to be in good health and spirits, talking to the crowd more than he apparently has the past few shows, and he was quite animated in his stage maneuvering. Maynard got the crowd to join him in singing happy birthday to "Carol", who is apparently celebrating her 16th birthday... not quite sure who this "Carol" person is.

carol is the lead singer for a local band called NICE CAT. anyone rememer at the APC show at the Koolhaus where he stopped the show to talk about the origin of jagermeister? and he sent over 12 test tubes filled with shots for Carol and Caitlin of NICE CAT? When tour schedules allow, members of either band (TOOL, APC and NICE CAT) can be spotted at each others' shows.
