Since Danny had a hand in the technology of the Mandala Pads, there's no doubt he'll use them more and more. But, he's been doing electronics for a fair while, so I don't think the band's sound will change too much.
Maybe we should discuss Adam tuning to Drop D... let's change key for the next one guys! </jokes>
Most Tool stuff takes a while to grow, and I'm always LAUGHING at the impatience on this forum, since the albums only been around for a couple of months. Let it sit!
