But there aren't enough syllables for it to be "blessed with patience and reason," there's the word "along" after the first word (or something else with two syllables, for those of you who oppose the idea of "benched along"). Although he's not talking about a baseball game, he is talking about the angels being on the sideline and not having the ability to take action; much like in sports, right?
I still think it's "benched along..."
