Thanks to the people on this thread for reminding me this is truly one of the strangest places on earth.

As Tool fans, being the comitted souls they are, will eventually cement Tools name in rock legend because in twenty years you will still be listening to this stuff while most bands of this era will have disappeared from collective memory, I wonder if this hoax theory will become a rock legend a la 'Paul McCartney is dead'.
