maynard walked off during wings pt. 1 (within the first 3 mins of the song). i was row 1 floor 2 dead center, 100% guarantee when this was when he walked off. adam looked at justin, who raised his eyebrows in a "well fuck now what" kind of sense. the personal security of tool ran over to maynard, who composed himself and returned to stage. to note, maynard exited stage left, the band entered and exited stage right (where their dressing rooms were). from what it seems to me, he did not fuck anything up, its an understandably emotional song for him and thats what it was.
