Okay i have some new thoughts on the meanings in specific lyrics; is it at all possible that "benevolent sun" is actually "benevolent SON" as in either the writers' own son OR son as in Jesus Christ? (I'm not thinking this because i'm religious because actually i'm not, but maybe Maynard is?) Is this a personal song for Maynard? And pertaining to the line "shine on until the two become one" meaning that if the two-"wants and needs" become one, then life will be good.
