im the guy whos grandmother died the day before the concert. luckily i got to the show after the viewing, i still felt a little guilty going and enjoying myself but i think thats what she wouldve wanted, plus i really needed the release to help get my feelings out. wings/10000 days was it for me. except for the fucking assholes that decided to fucking talk during the goddamn first half of the song. of course everyone gets quiet once the guitar gets heavy for the second half. these fucking assholes dont want to hear the first part of one of the most meaningful songs that tool has ever made. maybe im over reacting but at that moment i felt what maynard felt when he wrote that and probably feels everytime he sings it. other than that i wouldve payed the money just to see lateralus. fucking amazing. i can die happy.
