Not much to add here, this was my first Tool show. I knew it was going to be a visual feast going into it... but i under-estimated the coolness of the lasers. From my seat (Sec. 218, second floor to the immidiate right of the stage) During 10k days, when maynard got to the final "Give me my Wings!!" the lasers fanned out and flapped, i thought that was pretty cool =D. And I didnt know the extent to the visual effects happening on the stage itself. For example during Flood (which i thought was a REAL treat to hear something from undertow that ISNT Sober) every time they struck that power chord in unison, water rushed across the stage from Danny to the crowd... Wow, way cool!

The scream during Stinkfist "Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!!!" (well at least... thats what i always think hes saying :-/ whatever) just about made me cream in my pants. It's amazing how well Maynard can belt it out like that.

The talkbox solo on Jambi, very cool visually from where i was, BIG RING of Fire around Adam.

The fast tempo portion of Schism, Awesome. Also i think for a few verses there Maynard was using some "devil" vocal effect.

FLOOD!! Man!!! THEY PLAYED FLOOD!!

The dueling drummers for Lateralus was probably the biggest highlight i think. How long did that go on? Seemed like about 13-15 minutes... the whole song that is. It felt like the drum solo was maybe 5-6 minutes-ish. At any rate, AWESOME! And Maynard even came down from his perch to give something to Justin, then walked over to Danny and Brody(i think that was his name) and just kinda stood there nodding his head with this look his face like "Hmm, not too bad. Okay you? Ah, pretty good. Hmmm, very interesting."

Not much banter from Maynard. They pretty much just took the stage "Hi everyone, lets get started" then just before Vicarious he thanked everyone for not using their cameras and that it was time for them to get back to their porn. He starting saying how it "still takes, finding that vunerable, quiet spot"... when he said that i almosted expected them to do Third Eye... kinda got my hopes up a little high for that one. I personally thought Maynard was a little tame last night... other than the Limbo/Cowboy stance during Jambi, he pretty much just swayed from side to side, stomped his feet and shook his fist. No major evil monkeys were being exorcised.

The sound was Great! Although at times Maynard was hard to hear where i was at.

Well thats pretty much all i gotta say; fragmented thoughts, i know. Sorry, thats how i role. Fantastic Show! Cant wait for the next.
