Strages

As the above posters have mentioned, the show was incredible. Danny was amazing - I never realized he used two basses. Adam and Justin were even better live than they are in recordings. Tool totally proved why they are one of the best rock bands ever last night. I was sitting close enough and right in the middle of the amphitheatre that my girlfriend and I had a near perfect view (aside from people in front of us standing on their seats some of the time) and were in a position to hear almost everything, we were able to understand everything he said. The comments were as follows:

After Stinkfist: "Just a reminder of who's in charge. That would be the alcohol."

After Opiate: "Thanks for coming out tonight, we'd love to stay, but there's lots of hotel porn to jack-off to."

After Sober there was a huge pause and it seemed as though the show was over. The band got together in the middle of the stage and sat down. Everyone in the amphitheatre held up their lighters and lit them. It was very cool. They then broke into their last three songs, which were so awesome I couldn't remember what songs they had played before those. Anyhow, if you haven't seen them, GET TICKETS AND SEE THEM!! Worth every penny!

Edit: oh yeah, and ISIS was pretty cool too. Vocals were a not so good, but sonically they were really cool. Kind of a mix between Tool, a sound like mushroom head, and Pinback. The drummer is real good too.
