I had, like most people, listened to Tool in the Undertow days, but didn't really get heavy into them. I was one of those people that pretty much only knew Sober and song 69 (Disgustipated?). Years later, I'd heard Schism and liked it, but still wasn't really a fan.

I met a guy who was HUGE into Tool (a member here, but I don't know his username) and he tried to get me into them, but I was never all that interested. Last year, he wanted someone to go with him to their Dallas show and offered to buy my ticket if I would just go, so I went (can't beat that deal, huh?).

I had an absolute blast!

I claimed that even after the show, I wasn't any more of a Tool fan than I was before the show, but how could I explain all the Tool I was suddenly listening to?

Now this new summer tour popped up and my first reaction was, "YES, PLEASE!"

So this will only be my second show to attend, but I believe it's his seventh. Unless some strange force of nature somehow prevents it, I don't plan on missing a tour from this point forward.

WOW! I WISH I WAS IN YOUR SHOES GOING TO THE CONCERT! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE TOOL AND I TAKE BACK WHAT I SAID ABOUT UNDERTOW. (WHEN I LISTENED TO IT THE FIRST TIME I ACTUALLY WASN'T REALLY LISTENING TO IT IN A VERY FOCUSED KIND OF WAY, IT WAS WHILE I WAS DRIVING AND HAVING A CONVERSATION WITH MY SON THE ENTIRE TIME. I'VE LISTENED TO IT AGAIN AND REALIZED MY THOUGHTS ABOUT IT BEFORE WERE TOTALLY PREMATURE BECAUSE I LIKE IT A LOT AND I'LL BET THE MORE I LISTEN TO IT, THE MORE I'LL LIKE IT, AS WITH 10000 DAYS AND LATERALUS THE MORE I LISTENED TO THE ENTIRE CD'S THE MORE AMAZED AND BLOWN AWAY I'VE BECOME WITH ALL OF THE SONGS. THEIR IS'NT ONE SINGLE SONG I DON'T LIKE!
