I've got the goods. No bullshit.


It is the 13th of December, and 2 hours ago I purchased the official Vicarious DVD at a music store in Warsaw, Poland. I repeat, IN AN OFFICIAL STORE, so if anyone from the admins has any beef, PM me about it please. I didn't know it was gonna premiere earlier, but one of the workers at the store said they officially put them out on the shelf TODAY. Therefore, I see no reason why not to share this. If it's out on the shelves here, that means its intended to be bought and seen, and Europe clearly got an early release.

Here are some pictures of the whole packaging, I havent watched the video or any features yet, the DVD hasn't even been in my disc drive yet. I wrote in the title that this contains spoilers (!!!), so don't go bitching about how I ruined your damn Christmas surprise, you're looking at these pictures at your own risk.

That looks sweet. The imagery for this video makes it look killer, and a 40 minute documentary on the making of the video is a much better way of rounding out the package than a lustmord remix (no offense, lustmord).

I would refuse to watch this on youtube, because Im confident that the animation will have details and textures that youtube won't be able to replicate. I remember watching mpeg files of the parabola and schism videos on my computer for a long time before I got the dvd's, and it was such a world of difference to watch them in their original quality.

I would, however, download a dvd rip, since I've bought a copy anyways.

I've gone through all the menus and browsed the files on the dvd, and there are only so many video files as there are actual videos on the disc. Unless something is somehow hidden/encrypted on the disc, there's nothing more apart from the contents I mentioned earlier yesterday evening.

I got my copy and couldn`t resist to watch it and i have to say: great work! the documentory-stuff is also very nice and insightful...got to watch the dvd again...man, i am glad :)
and the package is almost better than the actual 10,000days-cover...just my opinion...it was worth the waiting and here a tip to all the impatient ones:
