Maynard is talking about his father. Just look at what he is talking about literally and not get all nerdy and look into theories and books. The answer is right on the surface. the whole song he talks about someone pushing and pushing him over the edge, be it mentally or physically. Then it ends with him saying that remember ill always love you because its his father and he brought him to the world then as he tears his fucking throat away because of the abuse. Its very contradicting but when looked at in this light it makes perfect sense.
