OK so I think I'm about to go on a Tool binge, I've been reading articles. One article with Barresi and Ludwig (their engineers) mentioned a couple interesting easter eggs on the album. Everyone knows about the whispers in Intension, but there are probably more. So, maybe it's because I've got easter eggs floating around in my head, but I think I stumbled upon one-

Right between 24 and 25 seconds on Rosetta stoned, it sounds like a little girl saying "Hi!" Anyone else notice this?

I'm checkin right now;.. only have one speaker working so it might be on the left channel cuz i cant hear it..

i also have noticed some weird effects at another point in this song..

it starts at 1:43,.. ends at 152... there's this sorta weird high sound bouncing around the drums and guitar... almost like staccato gasping or panting..

Nice observation. This thread is mistitled.

Nonethless, thanks for pointing out the egg. I'm listening for it now.

Hmmm? What scream?

Anyways; I can't hear any kid saying "Hi". But then again i was only just listening to the song on my phone with a pair of ear buds. Ill give it some more listens when im not at work lol.

what is significant about someone saying, "hey turn that shit down"? Or something like that..

Moar like its just as significant as "I just sat down to enjoy my coffee, and now i have to sing".

I hear nothing at 4:22. What am I listening for? There is definitely a hi at the beginning, but what is the thing you've noticed Medicea Sidera.

It's right at 4:22..."will i ever be coming down?" a weird sound on the background! sounds like a "boom" to me.

Holy crap guys, I'm listening so closely that I think I can hear my ear. I know it sounds wierd, but I could hear a swooshing sound after I hear something and it gets really quiet quickly. As a matter of fact, it sounds a lot like the sound made 23 seconds into the song "The Patient". At first I thought I was hearing something in the song "Intension", but then I noticed it was happening in every song where it gets quiet quickly. That's why I came to the conclusion that it's just a sound my ear makes.

I'm pretty sure this is because he is pushing good amounts of air for the letter F- Flaming.
